The Patient Care Technician provides essential clinical support and direct patient care for adult surgical patients. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing phlebotomy and EKG testing, and assisting with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
Requires a high school diploma and a professional certification such as CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or equivalent clinical program completion. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
One year of health care experience (Preferred).
