Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina or a graduate of an approved surgical technician program. Requires BCLS certification and the physical ability to lift 30 pounds and perform a full range of body motions.
Description Join our award-winning, 5-star hospital-based Skilled Nursing Unit. As an LPN in this high-acuity, post-acute setting, you will be the vital bridge between our Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nursing Assistants (CNAs). You will provide expert clinical care to patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, or acute illnesses, ensuring they receive the high-standard medical attention necessary for a successful transition home.
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an approved program for surgical technicians; graduate of a military training program in surgical technology or current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in North Carolina. Possesses a thorough knowledge of principles and practice of surgical asepsis. Certification in BCLS. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
