Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Lake Orion, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Follow care plans and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Valid certifications as required by state and local regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
