Job description
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio board of nursing.
Completes/submits required documentation.
Delivers effective relationship based nursing care.
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Full time 36 hours per day which means 3 12's.
Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
Patient population will be adult acute care.
Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Additional Regular Compensation: The Hanna House 3 Acute Care department is currently eligible for the Additional Regular Compensation (“ARC”) program.
In addition to your hourly rate, you will be eligible for ARC in the amount of $2.00 per hour.
Other Accredited Program
Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program required. 2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only) required. Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).
