The Recovery Specialist provides a safe and structured residential living environment through direct client supervision and the facilitation of non-clinical groups. They are responsible for maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to agency policies and clinical treatment practices.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and at least one year of 12-Step fellowship experience. Previous experience as a BHT, CNA, or Residential Counselor is preferred.
Direct client supervision Facilitating and co-facilitating client non-clinical groups Providing safe client transportation Maintaining appropriate documentation according to agency and licensing requirement Experience: 1+ year of 12-Step fellowship experience required A minimum of 2 years in treatment industry preferred CNA, Behavioral Health Tech, Mental Health Tech, Recovery Specialist, Residential Counselor experience preferred Required Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications: CPR Certification High School Diploma Physical Nature of the Job: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
