Operates radiology equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians to aid in disease diagnosis and treatment. Responsible for implementing treatment plans, maintaining a safe work environment, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Requires completion of an ARRT-accredited radiography program and current ARRT(R) registration or status as a new graduate. BLS certification and a state license are required, along with an associate degree in a related field.

Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.
Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R) or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry. Associates degree in related field
Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory. Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results. Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions; ability to plan and organize work.
Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired ARRT(R); BLS Certification within 14 days of hire. New graduate who will obtain required registry within 120 days of hire. State license as required.
