Job description

This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period, every 2 weeks) position on a 12-hour Night shift schedule working variable days of the week including weekends and holidays.
Position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

General Surgery & Medical Acute is a 36 Bed General Surgery and Medical Cardiac unit (5P) located in Prebys Cardiovascular Institute on the Scripps Memorial La Jolla campus.
The patient populations include bariatric, gynecological, colorectal, and medical cardiac patients.
As RN you will monitor and recognize patient vital signs, symptoms, telemetry readings and EKG for abnormal heart rhythms or changes such as Afib, heart blocks, vtach/fib.
