Requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Sonography and BLS certification. Must hold or obtain ARRT (R) and MRT, ARRT (S), or ARDMS certification within 120 days of hire.
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The Sonographer utilizes specialized imaging equipment to capture and interpret sonographic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Associate's degree in either Radiologic Technology or Sonography. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. The following certification(s) are required upon hire or must be obtained within 120 days of hire: ARRT (R) and MRT, or ARRT (S), or ARDMS.
