Washington Blvd Animal Hospital in Whittier, CA, is seeking a passionate and motivated associate veterinarian to join our vibrant, multi-doctor practice. This position is open to both new graduates and seasoned veterinarians. About Us: At Washington Blvd Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on being the largest and most dominant general and urgent care hospital in the area, frequently sought out for second opinions and ICU patient hospitalizations. Our team of 11 DVMs provides comprehensive care to our small animal patients (canine, feline, and pocket pets), with a focus on collaboration and mentorship. We embrace the most challenging medical and surgical cases, and our facility is equipped with onsite endoscopy, and we have mobile access to CT, ultrasound, surgery, and cardiology services.

What We Offer

Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts and no on-call requirements. Our shift options include 7am-6pm, 8am-7pm, and 12pm-11pm. You will typically work 2 weekends per month and 1 holiday shift per year. Supportive Team: Our doctor-to-staff ratio ensures you have the support you need, with 3 technicians, 1 doctor’s assistant, and 1.5 CSRs per DVM. Eight of our DVMs have been part of the team for 5+ years, with our longest-tenured DVM serving for over 20 years!
