Assists pharmacists in preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications to patients and care areas. This includes the preparation of sterile products under professional supervision.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and certification as a Pharmacy Technician. Must be registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy by June 28, 2026.
Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels and delivers medications, including sterile products, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Must obtain Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration by June 28, 2026.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
Experience General Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
