Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab, including pre- and post-procedure care, vital signs, and hemodynamic status; recognize and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol; manage potential adverse events and assist with procedure-related care.
• Document care accurately, maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; contribute to the development and modification of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team, imaging/technologies staff, and support personnel to ensure smooth procedural flow and safe patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a cath lab/acute care environment
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Experience in cath lab, interventional nursing, or related acute care setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and document care effectively
