The Registered Pharmacist interprets physician prescriptions, compounds and dispenses medications, and serves as a drug information resource for medical staff and patients. They are also responsible for managing controlled substance inventories and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school with a current state pharmacist license and CPR certification. Preferred experience includes at least three years in a hospital setting or one year in behavioral healthcare.
