The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, including recording vitals, preparing exam rooms, and administering treatments under provider direction. They are also responsible for laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and managing patient documentation and scheduling.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with a current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, or AMCA) and BLS certification. At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
