The role involves performing sample preparation, routine cell culture, and operating mass spectrometry instruments. Additionally, the technician is responsible for data reporting, lab maintenance, and managing supplies and chemicals.
A bachelor's degree and at least one year of basic laboratory research experience are required. Prior experience with mass spectrometry instruments is preferred.
The Tulane University Center for Cellular and Molecular Diagnostics is seeking a research technician. This is a full time position that will involve sample preparation, routine cell culture, mass spectrometry operation, data reporting, routine instrument and lab maintenance, supply ordering and making general lab chemicals. Facility instruments include a mixture of LCMS/MS instruments.
