Assists pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs technical duties related to the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals across various pharmacy function areas.
Requires current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia and one year of experience. Certification through PTCB or NHA is preferred.

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
