The Surgical Technologist manages sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment required for surgical interventions. They assist surgeons during procedures and ensure the decontamination and maintenance of the operative environment.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of surgical experience. BLS certification is required, and Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
The Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the surgical team and provides quality care to our patients. Care is rendered by providing and controlling the sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment required during surgical intervention. The technologist ensures that the instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and available when needed.
Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Surgical Technologist certification preferred. Current BLS Certification required.
