The Psychiatrist performs psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow-ups for adult clients within an evidence-based framework. They provide clinical consultation to staff and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to optimize client outcomes.
Candidates must be an Adult Psychiatrist with a GA State Medical License, DEA registration, and be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Proficiency in electronic health records and a commitment to trauma-informed care are required.
Full time on-site opportunity in an outpatient behavioral health clinic based in the Kirkwood neighborhood.
The selected Psychiatrist will join an excellent team of clinical and medical staff. As an important member of this multi-disciplinary team, completes psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow ups and makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Provides consultation regarding client care to clinical staff. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. May provide support to other Claratel outpatient clinics. May provide supervision to APRN providers. This position serves Adults only. Minimum Training & Experience: Adult Psychiatrist. GA State Medical License and DEA. Currently Board Certified or Board Eligible.
