Requires a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling and LMHC, LMFT, or license eligibility in New Mexico. Experience with DBT, ERP, or EMDR is preferred along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We believe very strongly in the importance of having a safe place to heal from emotional trauma, and in providing high quality, evidence-based treatment. We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC or LMFT) to join our team in New Mexico. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents with various mental health concerns Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needs Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress notes Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities
Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling LMHC, LMFT or License eligible in the state of New Mexico Experience with DBT, ERP or EMDR a plus. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as psychology, therapy and counseling approaches Strong analytical skills to assess a patient’s situation and build treatment plans Excellent listening skills to best understand a patient’s issues and concerns Excellent communication skills to effectively guide patients and establish trust Crisis intervention skills to respond to patients in acute distress All new patient visits conducted in person, but we offer a mixture of in-person and telemedicine for follow-up visits based on patient needs
