Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ER patients across age groups, applying the nursing process to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate and deliver care aligned with the medical plan.
• Triage, treat, and monitor trauma and emergency cases, adapt to patient needs across neonatal to geriatric populations as assigned.
• Incorporate patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and safety considerations into the overall care plan.
• Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other licensed or competent staff while maintaining accountability and patient safety.
• Document and communicate patient status and care plans clearly to the care team and when transferring between units or shifts.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing.
• Minimum readiness to work in a high-acuity ER setting; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a 3x12 rotating shift schedule.
• Start date 08/10/2026 and 8-week assignment length.
• Competence in basic clinical decision-making, patient assessment, and care coordination.
• Eligible to participate in a travel assignment in Marysville, CA as a temporary healthcare professional.
