Process and prepare biological specimens for testing while performing data entry and sample tracking. Handle communications with providers and internal teams in a high-volume laboratory environment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for phlebotomy training or science coursework. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Shift: Full-time, M, T, W, F 645-1715, Saturday 645-1300, Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required

The specimen processing department in a medical lab serves as the crucial central hub for receiving, triaging, and preparing biological samples for testing. It sets the foundation for accurate diagnostics by ensuring sample integrity, proper data entry, and timely routing to technical departments. Our lab is expanding and obtaining new instruments/automation lines. Now is an excellent time to join the specimen processing team if you want to help build the foundation of the new lab.
