Provide personalized one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Responsibilities also include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing emotional support and companionship.
Candidates must hold an active New York State HHA Certification and have at least one year of professional experience. Required health documentation includes a recent physical, PPD/QuantiFERON test or chest X-ray, and MMR immunization records.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide personal care and hygiene assistance Offer medication reminders as directed by the care plan Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping Provide companionship and emotional support Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Active New York State HHA Certification (required) Minimum of 1 year of professional HHA experience Authorized to work in the United States Valid driver’s license preferred Physical examination completed within the past year PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years MMR immunization documentation within the past 10 years
