The specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive licensing studies and evaluations to recommend the suitability of foster parent applicants. Additionally, they handle recruitment, retention, and provide ongoing support and training for foster parents.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field. A valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable daily transportation are also required.
