Support residents with respiratory conditions such as COPD and CHF while monitoring changes in condition and preventing hospitalizations. Collaborate closely with respiratory therapists, physicians, and facility teams to provide consistent clinical care.
Requires an active RN or LPN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required for those working in ventilator units. Candidates must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work evenings and weekends as needed.

Regulatory Requirements Current state and national Nursing licensure in good standing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire). Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if working with residents in ventilator units (or obtain within six months of hire). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of general clinical services and respiratory care practices. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment. Ability to handle complex or difficult situations professionally. Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards in patient care.
Position requires walking for approximately 10–12 hours per day. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and manual handling of equipment. Work performed under varying temperatures and environmental conditions. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required to meet operational needs. Ability to tolerate high-pressure and fast-paced clinical environments. Requires talking, hearing, seeing, and fine motor coordination for patient care and equipment management.
