The Gastroenterologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating digestive and gastrointestinal diseases through comprehensive medical care. Key duties include performing diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies and developing patient treatment plans.
Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology with a current California Physician License and DEA License. A minimum of 3 years of experience and completion of a Gastroenterology residency program are required.
The Physician/Gastroenterologist is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. The Gastroenterologist will evaluate and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and ensure appropriate follow-up care. This role will also monitor the progress of patients and adjust treatment plans as needed. Communication with other physicians, staff, and patients is paramount in this position to ensure that patient needs are met effectively and efficiently.
