Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for part-time day shift (Friday 8a - 4p, Saturday and Sunday 8:30a - 12:30p) to support our Doylestown, PA campus.
• This position requires an every weekend commitment.
• The Medical Assistant position: Provides assistance to pediatrician/nurse practitioners on daily sick call rounds for inpatient and RTF residents.
• Improves the patient experience through daily patient interaction, clerical support, ongoing projects, and additional duties as needed.
• Supports a variety of clerical functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.
• Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults.
• Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12-acre campus in Bucks County, PA.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/AAMA).
• High School diploma required.
