The RN provides patient-centered care in the Emergency Department by utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care plans. They are responsible for coordinating care delivery and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Connecticut and possess BCLS certification. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required, with a BSN preferred and prior Emergency RN experience required.

1. STANDARDS OF PRACTICERN practice is guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice (2015). The Standards of Practice describe a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by utilizing the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Every Friday/Saturday. Emergency RN experience required.
