Perform administrative, communication, and cardiac monitoring functions to support the Critical Care Center. Function independently in CCU Tech, Nurse Aide, or Unit Secretary roles to meet performance expectations.
Requires a high school diploma, BCLS certification, and a valid NA1 or NA2 listing. Candidates must have an aptitude for reading EKG strips and the ability to complete required educational classes.
Performs a variety of organizational functions including administrative, communication and cardiac monitoring skills in support of the Critical Care Center. Required to work and function competently and independently in CCU Tech, NA, or Unit Secretary role in order to meet annual evaluation performance expectations.
Knowledge of medical terminology and cardiac monitoring.
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
