The Behavioral Health Associate monitors patient behaviors and provides continuous care and supervision under the direction of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, facilitating rehabilitative groups, and responding to crisis situations.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for six months of experience working with psychiatric populations. Required certifications include CPR and de-escalation and restraint training, which can be provided upon hire.
