The Occupational Therapist evaluates participants' abilities in center and home environments to enhance engagement with activities of daily living. They are responsible for developing treatment programs, providing therapeutic recommendations, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited OT curriculum and hold a valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license and driver's license. A minimum of one year of experience with the frail elderly population is required, with two years of general OT experience preferred.

Graduate of an OT curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and the Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American OT Association.
2 years’ experience as an OT preferred, but not required, & minimum 1 year of experience working with a frail elderly population.
Aides and OTA's as program needs indicate.
Licensed Occupational Therapist in NC, valid NC driver's license and vehicle.
Demonstrates clinical competency with geriatric population. Only acts within the scope of his or her authority to practice. Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by Senior TLC and approved by CMS before working independently.
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact
