Requires a Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Candidates must be licensed or board-eligible (LPC, LPA, LMFT, or LCSW) and possess a valid driver's license.
We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled MORES Therapist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a MORES Therapist with Appalachian Community Services, you will provide community-based crisis intervention services to youth experiencing acute mental health and/or substance use crises. Intervention may involve rapid response, connecting youth and families with necessary resources, providing immediate support to stabilize the situation, and working with other service providers to coordinate care. Crisis intervention: Respond to community mental health and substance use crises and provide immediate support and intervention to stabilize the youth in crisis.
