Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehab unit focused on chemical dependency
Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, monitor vital signs, and administer medications per orders
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, case management) to support rehabilitation goals
Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, ensure patient safety, respond to emergencies, and document in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge planning, and follow‑up needs
Ensure compliance with NYS nurse licensing requirements, facility policies, and safety standards

Active New York State Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in inpatient acute rehab or chemical dependency unit
Travel experience required; renewals preferred
