The Clinical Exercise Physiologist prescribes and leads individual and group exercise programs for Cardiac Rehab patients. They are responsible for monitoring patient tolerance and providing education on risk factor modification.
A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and preferably have experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation.

The Clinical Exercise Physiologist prescribes and leads individual exercise programs and progressions, monitors patient’s tolerance and adaptation to exercise, and instructs patients during class and individual sessions for Cardiac Rehab. Responsible for preparing and providing patient education (to individuals and groups) on subjects relating to risk factor modification. The roles of the Clinical Exercise Physiologist will consist or, but are not limited to, clinician, teacher, consultant and researcher.
