Must hold an MD or DO degree, be board-certified, and possess a valid Kentucky medical license. Required certifications include DEA, ACLS, and BLS, along with experience in critical care settings.

As a Locum Critical Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide comprehensive critical care to patients in a high-acuity setting Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings Adhere to all hospital protocols and policies regarding patient care
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky Experience in critical care settings Strong knowledge of ICU protocols and standards of care Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Comfortable utilizing electronic health record systems Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Setting: Closed ICU units, 50 beds total
Daily Admissions Volume: ~12-15 patients
Procedures Required: Intubation, chest tube, bronchoscopy, etc
Support Staff: RNs, Intensivists
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
