The pharmacist is responsible for accurate drug distribution, interpreting pharmacokinetic data, and providing drug information to healthcare professionals. They must also document medication use variances and ensure compliance with High Reliability Organization safety standards.
Candidates must hold a B.S. or Pharm.D. from an accredited college and be licensed to practice pharmacy in Connecticut. Two years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, and a residency is desirable.
