The nurse is responsible for administering prescribed medications, establishing IV access, and monitoring patient responses to treatments. Additionally, they must manage patient education, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and ensure the cleanliness of infusion rooms.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, and at least 3 years of recent clinical experience in high-acuity settings like ICU or ER. Current BLS or ACLS/PALS certification is required, while a BSN and prior infusion experience are preferred.
