The Certified Medical Assistant will handle clinical office duties including taking vital signs and rooming patients. Additional responsibilities include managing prescription refills, order entry for labs and imaging, and performing telephone triage.
A national medical assistant certification is required, or at least two years of medical office experience for non-certified candidates. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Certified Medical Assistant is needed to provide office duties in a medical office setting. Duties include vital signs, rooming patients, prescription refills, lab and imaging order entry, EMR data entry, and telephone triage. This is a permanent, full-time, benefits-eligible position.
