Provide support, guidance, and advocacy to individuals recovering from substance use disorder using lived experience. Facilitate recovery-focused groups and help clients navigate systems of care including housing and employment.
Must have a minimum of 3 years in active recovery and a Peer Recovery Coach certification through CCAR or MDHHS. A high school diploma or GED is required.
MUST have CCAR Training and a Minimum of 3 years in recovery to qualify. 2nd shift position 2pm-10pm/3pm-11pm
The Peer Recovery Coach provides support, guidance, and advocacy to individuals recovering from substance use disorder. As someone in long term recovery, the Peer Recovery Coach uses their lived experience to help clients navigate treatment, access community resources and build skills for long term recovery.
