The Medication Technician is responsible for the accurate preparation, administration, and documentation of medications for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also monitor resident health, coordinate with clinical staff, and manage medical supply inventory.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and an active Medication Technician Certification. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in pediatric or long-term care and current CPR/BLS certifications.

The Medication Technician is responsible for the accurate preparation, administration, and documentation of medications in accordance with physician orders, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring resident safety, clinical accuracy, and continuity of care.
