Perform manual sample extractions and operate LC-MS/MS instrumentation for special chemistry testing. Responsible for instrument maintenance, assay troubleshooting, and accurate data analysis and documentation.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological science or Clinical Laboratory Science and six months of experience with LC-MS/MS systems. ASCP/AMT certification and experience with GC-FID are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements Six months experience performing manual extractions and working with LC-MS/MS systems in production.
ASCP or AMT certification One year experience performing manual extractions and working with LC-MS/MS systems in production. One year experience with GC-FID Additional Job Standards Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
