Responsibilities

Manage wound care staff. Direct all wound care service activities – making recommendations for staff/patient ratios. Serve as a liaison between staff and administration. Promote productivity of staff. Develop and implement policies and procedures and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Must possess RN Licensure in good standing. Have current CPR certification and maintain same. Must have Certified Wound Specialist certification and maintains same. Minimum of five years nursing experience is required. Three years’ experience in wound care supervisory roles, with increasing responsibility, desired.
