Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide in-home care and support for clients in Dexter, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility support, including transferring and positioning
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant or in a related care-giving role is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
