The role involves using CRISPR-Cas technology to create human disease models in Xenopus embryos. Responsibilities include animal care, molecular biology experiments, and collaborating with international scientists to analyze mutants.
Candidates must hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology or a related field. While experience in molecular biology or embryology is beneficial, basic lab skills will be taught during the position.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the PI and other lab members in their experiments, assisting in workshops, handling frogs, animal care, exploring literature, analyzing sequencing, dissections, and microscopy.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in biology or related field. Experience in molecular biology and/or embryology is beneficial though not essential. Basic lab skills are recommended, but all skills will be taught and developed during the course of the job.
