The RN is responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments and synthesizing data to formulate nursing diagnoses and goals. They implement and evaluate care plans to ensure patient safety and health restoration according to professional standards.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least 2 years of acute care experience are required. Candidates must hold a valid Texas or compact nursing license and obtain specific certifications like ACLS, PALS, or TNCC within a set timeframe.
