• Category: OtherThe Peer Recovery Support Services staff is responsible for working with the counselors, community and clients to assist in the development of natural supports for individuals in recovery. Upload your tribal Membership card, if claiming Osage or Native American preference Answer all questions Any information given may be verified You must sign/acknowledge your application to be considered for this position Osage preference does apply QualificationsRequired Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1 or more years of sobriety required, preference given to recovery from opioids or stimulants preferred Willing and able to share your personal story of recovery to assist clients and the community General Qualifications Willing and able to obtain Peer Recovery Support Services credentials from Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services within 6 months of hire Required to be HIPAA and Privacy Act Trained, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Must be able to seek out community resources and share them with clients Must be a team player with strong diplomacy skills and conflict management abilities Requires a high level of personal integrity, ethics, and problem solving skills Requires an ability to speak to community members about the goals/objectives of the grant Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, interpersonal communication and team work skills Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or within 90 days of hire, Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
