Program Overview CCAMBA subcontracts with Columbia University on the research project P3: “Estimating the Impact of a Multilevel, Multicomponent Intervention to Increase Uptake of HIV Testing and Biomedical HIV Prevention among African American/Black Gay, Bisexual, and Same-gender Loving Men.” CAMBA oversees recruitment for the study and provides substance misuse and HIV/hepatitis prevention navigation, including navigation to PrEP, for study participants. A Recruitment Coordinator who identifies with the community of focus conducts in-person and online outreach to their peers through dating apps/hook up sites. The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment and delivery of peer navigation to PrEP of P3 study participants.

What does the
Recruitment
Coordinator do: Assume primary responsibility for recruitment strategy and community engagement for P3 study, a partnership between CAMBA and Columbia University. Identify and engage venues, organizations, and individuals as recruitment partners for P3. Conduct recruitment activities 2-3 days per week. Design and execute on-line (Meta, TikTok, dating/hook-up apps, etc.) recruitment strategy to support doubling of enrollments in Year 2 of recruiting. Deliver peer navigation to enrolled P3 participants and other CAMBA clients. Prepare marketing materials for the program. Follow-up with clients and with referral organizations regarding client contact and progress with referral organization. In collaboration with program staff, work with clients to break through barriers to client goals and to assist clients in advocating for themselves and in moving toward self-sufficiency. Contact clients via telephone, mail and/or face-to-face home and office visits to ensure adherence to program, and document via progress notes. Escort clients to appointments (educational, medical, social service, etc.). Provide all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports. Create and maintain client files and make copies of all client documents. Conduct pre- and post-intervention assessments of clients’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding HIV risk. Prescreen clients over the telephone for eligibility and may schedule intake appointments. Assist clients in completing all CAMBA intake applications and forms. Schedule appointments for client with referral organizations. Input client data and client progress information into automated database. Contact clients for 30- and 90-day follow-up surveys.

Compensation: $50,000 annually When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
Status: -Full-time (35 hours per week)
