The Staff Nurse delivers person-centered care by planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for residents. They collaborate with the healthcare team and assist physicians during examinations and procedures to ensure resident well-being.
Candidates must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana and a BLS/CPR certification. Experience in senior living nursing is preferred.
The Staff Nurse at Adams Woodcrest plays a vital role in delivering person-centered nursing care by collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being. They participate in educating residents and their families, provide leadership by coordinating with ancillary and nursing staff, and adhere to the standards and philosophy of Adams Health. The nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing tests, administering medications within their scope, and promoting patient independence through education on health conditions, medications, and self-care practices.
