Technician-Behavioral Health Services

Job Summary

• Provide support and assistance to mental health service staff for patient care activities.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to the transporting of patients to and from facility, meal provisions, supervision of patients during staff break periods, Assist patient group activities as requested.
• Provides support to patients for assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
• Responsible for reporting/communicating to clinical staff any problematic or clinical issues observed while on duty.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transports clients safely to and form home/IOP facility via van and in facility.
• Completes documentation promptly.
• Participates in keeping IOP area clean and maintained to enhance patient care.
• Performs other duties ass assigned.

Specifications

Experience

• Minimum Required
• 1 years of experience assisting in the care of mental health patients.

• Minimum Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Minimum Required
• Ability to respond and interact appropriately to the unique needs of the geriatric population.

• Licensure
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of employment. Current Class R driving license with clean driving record.
