The Case Manager ensures the clinical appropriateness of services and efficient resource use for acute care patients. Primary duties include medical necessity review, discharge planning, and utilization review.
Candidates must hold a current RN license and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a hospital setting with case management certification, is preferred.
To assure clinical appropriateness of services and efficient use of resources through collaboration with the entire health care team for acute care patients. The Case Manager is responsible for medical necessity review, discharge planning, and utilization review.
