The Medical Assistant facilitates patient visits and procedures, including routine laboratory tests and referrals, within an ambulatory health care setting. They are also responsible for managing patient flow, documenting care in EPIC, and participating in quality initiatives.
Candidates must have a medical assisting certificate or a high school diploma with one year of recent experience in a physician practice. Medical Assistant certification is required within six months of hire.
