Caregiver

Home Instead is seeking compassionate, experienced Care Pros to support clients with advanced care needs. This role requires strong hands-on care giving skills, experience supporting individuals living with dementia, and the ability to provide comfort-focused care while preserving dignity and quality of life.

Schedules • Weekday shifts available between 8

• 00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Weekend shifts available between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Strong attendance, consistency, and communication are essential
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation required

• What You'll Do
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, skin care, and incontinence care
• Protect client dignity during all personal care activities
• Support catheter care and monitoring
• Actively guide, support, and ensure safety during transfers, including use of a mechanical lift
• Assist with safe repositioning to promote comfort and skin integrity
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and homemaking tasks
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Support individuals living with dementia through patience, redirection, and consistency
• Help maintain a calm, comfortable, and safe environment
• Observe and report meaningful changes in condition, comfort, appetite, mobility, or behavior
• Provide dependable respite so family caregivers can confidently step away
